While we’re all waiting to see what transpires with our passing game, I thought a discussion on our running backs would be worthwhile.
Houston ended up with 90 yeards, but he really took a pounding. Sumo on the other hand wound up leaving the game pretty banged up - again.
I was very impressed to see Mimms come in late and chunk out the the yardage we needed in that moment. His size to me makes him valuable if we are needing to rely on a running game that can eat up the clock and mitigate the lack of a proven passer heading into Syracuse. I think we may see a good deal more from Mimms, and look forward to seeing what he can do with more touches.
