The NCHSAA schools are kicking off its season this week and I have a pair of games circled to attend.
Tonight (Monday), I'll be at Raleigh Ravenscroft at Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons at 6:45 p.m. The main attraction is reclassed junior wing Comeh Emuobor.
On Tuesday, Pittsboro (N.C.) Seaforth High is having its first ever high school game, and will play new rival Pittsboro Northwood High. That game will have a juicy matchup of sophomore Jarin Stevenson against sophomore Drake Powell, who were both teammates in leading Northwood to a NCHSAA runner-up finish last year as freshmen.
Next Monday, I'm looking forward to watching Bailey (N.C.) Southern Nash at Wilson (N.C.) Fike High, which will give me my first look at sophomore point guard Jordan Vick, who is the younger brother of NC State senior football commit Jackson Vick.
