The Phenom Hoop Report Top 80 Camp had 120 players in attendance today in Greensboro.

Class of 2020 forward Jaden Seymour of Charlotte Northside Christian definitely likes NC State, but has a lot of schools that want to see him play in April. He's switched from Team Wall to Team Charlotte and coach Jeff McInnis, which is sponsored by Under Armour. Seymour wants to unofficially visit NC State in the future.

Team Charlotte also added junior shooting guard Tristan Maxwell of Huntersville (N.C.) North Mecklenburg. He was previously with CP3. He played point guard today and battled junior point guard Jalen Cone of Walkertown (N.C.) High. Maxwell, the son of former NBA guard Vernon Maxwell, was offered by NC State in June 2017. He showed flashes of his scoring punch today. Maxwell said the Wolfpack have picked things up of late with him, and did see him play this season.

Cone showed flashes but didn't have a vintage performance. He said NC State has essentially told him they'll watch him in April and then go from there. He's a downhill pick and roll point guard and will be with Team Felton on the Under Armour circuit.

Apex (N.C.) Friendship junior power forward Nick Farrar is starting to be on the Wolfpack radar. Farrar, Cone and Cam Hayes all took in the Virginia Tech at NC State game, so they have seen both ends of the spectrum. Farrar is interesting because he just turned 16, so he could easily be in the class of 2021. Farrar still has some baby fat to lose, and is looking for his first offer, but he's a rugged performer.

Raleigh Grace Christian reclassed junior Jaylon Gibson looked good, and he went to a NCSU game this season. I don't think the coaches went to see him play with his prep team, but did watch him in practice. Gibson is about 6-9 and a fluid athlete. It's going to be a big April for him.

The sophomore class took a hit today with NC State commit Terquavion Smith not attending, with the state title game looming next Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum. Point guards Hayes, Breon Pass, Bobby Pettiford and Carter Whitt also didn't attend. The Garner Road traveling team contingent also passed on going with tryouts today, but that's another long story.

Freshmen Jaden Bradley, Jalen Hood-Schifino, M.J. Rice and DeAnte Green (who is reclassed) were the best in the class of 2021.

I don't think NC State will ever recruit him but Northern Durham junior wing Ricky Council IV had a big day, and Greensboro Northwest Guilford junior shooting guard Christian Hampton is an intriguing player.
