Thought I would change it up a little. This is my plan for game day. Would love to hear other's.
Wake up at 5:00 am at the farm and put split chickens on the pig cooker. My friends will start showing up before sunrise, I'll grab my trusty old 20 gauge and head down the hill to the sunflower field. We will hunt dove until we have our limit or lunch, whichever comes first.
Those that need to, will return to the field. I'll stay up at the house to clean up the trash and to clean my birds.
While I'm at it I'll dig a cold beer or two out of the ice.
We'll head to Carter Finley around 3:30 or 4:00. My daughter, a sophomore, will meet me in the parking lot( on her way to the student seats ) to tell me how much she loves me, misses me, and to hit me up for some cash.
I may have a crown and ginger in the parking lot.
The Pack will roll in the first half. Jacoby, Shad, Matt, and J-Sam will stand on the sidelines with ball caps in the second half watching the second string and freshmen make plays.
Time permitting, we'll stop at the Chargrill on Hillsborough on the way home for the Hamburger steak Junior which comes with fries.
Sunday I'll read the thread about how fans left too early in the fourth and should have stayed to support the younger guys.
