Busy Saturday, but we’ll have everything covered…
I’ll be at Charlotte Carmel Christian to complete my Charlotte swing with Chambers at Harrisburg Hickory Ridge football from Friday night. The first three games are:
12 p.m. — Concord Academy vs. Goldsboro Wayne Country Day
1:30 p.m. — Legion Collegiate Academy vs. Charlotte Liberty Heights
3 p.m. Concord Cannon School vs. Charlotte Northside Christian
And maybe I’ll watch the first half of Moravian Prep vs. Winston-Salem Christian at 4:30 p.m.
That will give me looks at sophomore Kany Tchanda, sophomore Langston Boyd and junior Noah van Bibber of Concord Academy, junior James Demary Jr. and senior Ezra Ausar of Liberty Heights, junior Collin Tanner of Wayne Country Day, sophomore Austin Swartz, freshman Isaiah Henry and senior D.J. Nix of Concord School and I’ll assume junior Wesley Tubbs of Northside Christian is injured.
Then I’ll head up to Wake Forest for the NC State football game.
Jamie Shaw of Rivals.com will handle Colgate at NC State men’s basketball, and perhaps have coach Kevin Keatts talk about signees Shawn Phillips and L.J. Thomas.
