The one seed is a classic in baseball in 2013, rallying from 4-1 down entering the ninth to force extras before beating Rice 4-3 in 17 innings, clinching a first trip to the CWS since 1968. The eight seed is when a wounded Pack football team, minus OC Dana Bible w/Leukemia, beat No. 23 UNC, 28-27, to end the year on a high note.
