Athletic wing Nahziah Carter of Rochester (N.Y.) Bishop Kearney signed with Dayton this past November, but asked out following head coach Archie Miller leaving to Indiana. He can't follow him to IU in 2017 due to the Hoosiers already having 15 players on scholarship.
Adam Zagoria is reporting that NC State has offered Carter, but it will be interesting to see what class he ends up in. He could end up signing in 2017 with some college or ponder going to a prep school and move into the class of 2018.
NCSU assistant coach James Johnson watched him play with Albany City Rocks this past weekend in the Nike EYBL in Hampton, Va. Georgetown, Washington, Georgia Tech, UMass, Boston College and St. John's have also offered this past week per reports.
