. One thing good basketball coaches would love to have once the season is well underway is additional practice time. With 2-3 games a week, plus travel plus school there is scant time to smooth out any glaring issues the team is showing on the court. We have an opportunity to see if our coaching staff is having a positive effect on the problems that have plagued our BB team since we have only had one game each of the last two weeks. Can we tighten up the leaky defense that gives up far to many baskets at the rim? Are we going to put in any new wrinkles in an offense that is routinely shut down for 10 minutes of every game? Have they even recognized that the only true shooter on the team DJ Funderburks' shot has flattened out ( 3 weeks now). It's been recognizeble even on free throws but becomes more pronounced on any shot away from the basket. Answers begin to filter in tomorrow night in Syracuse, NY.
