Iowa State quarterback J.J. Kohl is transferring to Appalachian State. NC State had tried to see if he was interested in being a tight end, but I am assuming the Mountaineers are looking at him at quarterback. His dad kicked for Iowa State and is a major player in the special teams realm of high school camps.
