Tomorrow is March 1. I have no idea what kind of timeline Deb's search committee has in mind, but in my state of uninformed ignorance, I make it about a month before we can hope to have our next coach under contract.
My first choice, by far, is still Gregg Marshall. IMHO, he is the only one of the "realistic" candidates mentioned who has the street cred to go toe to toe with the likes of K, Roy, Pitino, Boeheim, Hamilton, Larranaga, Bennett, etc., on the court and on the recruiting trail.
So, my top 5 right now are, in order of preference:
Marshall
Miller
Wade
Keatts
Holtman
Just for grins, let's see everyone else's top 5 in rank order, as things stand today, understanding that our order of preference is subject to change as the search progresses.
