Why is it that a player only a few feet from the basket with a very high percentage shot can be hammered and have to shoot two free throws from the foul line to get two, but a shooter out beyond the circle with a markedly lower percentage shot can be touched fouled and go to the same foul line and shoot three?
Why not make the three point foul shot be taken from a line at the top of the key?
