A good slate of games is coming up, where I'll see some of the teams that the NC State coaches watched yesterday.
9 a.m.: Las Vegas Prospects vs. Pro Skills (Texas): Junior wing Charles O'Bannon Jr. is the priority in this game for the Wolfpack, and he has some talented junior teammates. Triangle fans will be hearing about Pro Skills five-star senior post player Marques Bolden, who has Duke and UNC offers.
10:30 a.m.: Oakland Soliders vs. Playaz Basketball Club of N.J.: Junior point guard Remy Martin plays for the Oakland Soldiers. I think he thinks he has an NC State offer, but not yet, but he has played well this week and could be getting one. Director of operations Jeff Dunlap has been recruiting him. His Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon prep teammate Ira Lee is a good power forward also on the Soldiers.
Noon: King James of Ohio vs. St. Louis Eagles: Nationally, Jayson Tatum of the Eagles is as good as it gets, but NC State is in the mix for his East St. Louis (Ill.) High junior center teammate Jeremiah Tilmon. He's a gifted shot-blocker and rebounder, but I've noticed his minutes are down this event.
1:30 p.m.: Georgia Stars 16s vs. PSA Cardinals in the playoffs. Tons of talent, especially tall talent. I've seen PSA Cardinals, who have five-star junior center Mohamed Bamba, but not the Georgia Stars, who I've heard have 4-5 high major 2017 prospects.
Then it's back to Raleigh.
The semifinals and title game will on one of the ESPN channels Sunday, I'm guessing ESPNU. One semifinal is at 9 a.m., and the other at 10:30 a.m. The title game is 3 p.m.
