Quarterback-turned-wide receiver Elijah Tillery of Valdese (N.C.) Draughn has entered the portal, and so did redshirt freshman defensive back Jamarion Montford of Morehead City (N.C.) West Carteret. Tillery was from the mountains far to the West, and Montford was from the Outer Banks area, far to the East. Tillery passed on a Gardner-Webb scholarship to wak-on at NC State.
