Sophomore John Lash navigating unique recruitment
Fun story to do in that Lash was basically a middle school baseball prodigy who at 6-5 and left-handed, was already hitting 91 miles per hour on the mound. Offers poured in, including from NC State baseball, but then he had Tommy John surgery last July. It will be interesting to see who will remain loyal to him. He has come back in hoops, where he's probably a low-major prospect with a chance to be a mid-major if he adds a three-point shot. He's shredding it statistically with a double-double in 27 of 28 games and he's averaging 24.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per game.
