Sophomore Paul McNeil forging exciting path
I finally got to see Paul McNeil play on Saturday. He's got a sophisticated style, though it can also lead to some difficult step-back three-point shots. He wasn't "on" in this particular game, but you can see if he is hot from deep, he'll be hard to stop in a Terquavion Smith kind of way. He's longer than Smith at probably 6-4, 6-5 (he thinks he's now 6-6). It's going to be fun tracking him, Drake Powell of Pittsboro Northwood and Rakease Passmore of Asheville Reynolds over the next few years on the wing.
