So ESPN has setup a GOAT NCAA basketball mock tournament which includes the best players from both Men’s and Women’s leagues throughout the years.
David Thompson was a 4 seed. So was Ralph Sampson. Jordan was a 2 seed. Hansbrough a 5 seed. Now that we have confirmed this truly is ESPN’s baby, players advance in their tournament via votes from the public. 12 seed Steph Curry upset David Thompson.
College Steph Curry was not the same as modern day Steph Curry but I guess people forget that fact. That and I would imagine half of the voters don’t even know who David Thompson is.
