Fayetteville (N.C.) Trinity Christian junior forward Greg Gantt had a wide range of emotions. On the one hand after a year of being evaluated, he didn't think NC State would ever offer. But then he also has quickly bonded to assistant coach James Johnson, who took over his recruitment after A.W. Hamilton got the head coaching job at Eastern Kentucky. He still was offered two months earlier than post players Ian Steere and Immanuel Bates were last year.
