NC State had offered Huntersville (N.C.) North Mecklenburg High sophomore shooting guard Tristan Maxwell on June 23, and he was the first in-state class of 2020 offer. I went to see him play last night for the first time, and he's a polished player with good poise. He finished with 19 points, and easily could have had more. He's the son of former Florida star and NBA shooting guard Vernon Maxwell.
