I would like to propose something which I am sure has no chance of ever being implemented. Why not do away with all the special exemptions for athletes and make them true student athletes. It would level the field for all schools and help get the shoe money out of the recruiting process. Star athletes will be able to go on to professional sports and start their careers early and start making money. This would stop rich parents from being able to buy their dumb a$$ kids an education at an elite school unless they at least donate a building. This way everybody wins.
