We've never been so uncompetitive like we are right now. I've seen Norm, Jimmy, Les, Herb, Sid and now Gott...All the other coaches before Gott always got everything from the players. As Wolfpackers, we always knew our guys left it all on the court. If the teams was struggling to score, they were still in the game because they played defense every game. This team is hard to watch. The defense has to be changed. We have left 3 point shooters open ever since Gott has got here, hoping the other guys can't hit the open shot. Now we're giving up dunks. Come on...
I've seen Norm take Kenny Carr out of a game for being lazy in a game that he scored 42 points. I'm sorry, but in my opinion, Gott should have taken that approach several times this year with Dennis. In the 5 decades I've followed the Pack ('70-present), this is the most disappointing team we've had. It's time the AD left, loved her sister, not so much her. Time to change up the direction of the program. We need a bench coach, recruiting is a must, but so are Xs and Os.
Thanks for letting me vent. Usually the younger Wolf in the family uses the account and he has significant issues with the ACC, the Tarhole Commish, and the crappy refereeing our Pack usually seems to get for our games. It seems to have gotten worse...
