The featured attraction in NC State recruiting circles was seeing how Kira Lewis would handle No. 9-ranked Jalen Lecque in a battle of elite point guards.
Lecque won the battle but there is an asterisk to it in that Lewis didn't have a heavy minutes workload for whatever reasons.
Both are downhill driving point guards, but there are some subtle differences. Lecque has a stronger lower body, which is probably why he has freakish hops. His calves are much bigger than most 6-2 point guards. Lewis is thinner but has a better jump shot. He is somewhat similar to De'Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings. Lewis will probably settle in the rankings in that 30-40 range, but his best basketball is ahead of him. Like most young point guards, when teams throw a zone or slow the game down, he'll need to make adjustments.
The two big man stars of that game were juniors Isaiah Jackson of Waterford Township, Mich., and Hunter Dickinson, who attends DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md. Having them on the same team is a little unfair and Lecque was smart enough to keep feeding Dickinson. Jackson is an absolute athletic freak.

Jaden Springer of Charlotte, the 2020 shooting guard, apparently suffered a camp-ending injury and went back home.
Talked to Christian Brown of Columbia, S.C., and he is leaving AOT and will be with a new (or new old one) traveling team in July. He said he'd like to officially visit NC State down the road and that he's mostly talking to head coach Kevin Keatts and assistant coach Takayo Siddle. He's not playing this week due to injury.
Saw Jae'lyn Withers play of Huntersville (N.C.) North Mecklenburg, and he came out like a house on fire, but didn't do as much in the second half. He has a lot of ability, but I still think he needs time to put it together.
Senior shooting guard James Bishop of Baltimore (Md.) Mount St. Joseph is one of those guards that just seems to know how to get his points. NC State offered him last fall, and he still lists the Wolfpack. Has the highest hair in the camp.
