NC State redshirt junior combo guard Trevor Lacey earned second-team All-ACC and finished ninth in the voting.

There had been a lot of speculation on whether sophomore point guard Anthony Barber's late-season run would get him something, but it proved to late apparently.

The other big debate had been for the last spot on the first team. Duke freshman center Jahlil Okafor, Syracuse senior center Rakeem Christmas, Notre Dame fifth-year senior guard Jerian Grant, Boston College junior point guard Olivier Hanlan and Virginia redshirt junior shooting guard Malcolm Brogdon ended up on the first team. Some figured Duke senior guard Quinn Cook would make first team, but he finished seventh in the voting.

NC State sophomore center BeeJay Anya won sixth man of the year.
