I'll get into more of Johnson's recruitment in Friday's The Run Down, but this will be a good test on how well the various colleges involved are good at closing a recruitment and being able to read a recruitment. Coaches usually fall into three categories in recruiting — think they'll get everyone, pessimistic about getting players or just have that gift of reading it correctly. It's a special gift for a coach to know if they lead for a recruit, or in third place or have little chance.
