I have mentioned before that my plant manager is also a HS referee crew chief in GA. He pointed out Duke Scott 3- 4 years ago. He said that he saw “the greatest performance in history” in a game he had last Friday. The kid, Tyrese Woodgett, ran for 605 yds in the state quarter finals. That put him over 1,000 yards in 3 playoff games. Unfortunately, he missed some of the regular season due to “legal complications”, so he hasn’t received any offers. Still, that is an amazing accomplishment. The kid has been advised to spend a year at Georgia Military Institute to remove some of the concerns that colleges might have. I hope he takes the advice as he is a special athlete.
