Probably the first of two eventual huge video packages of Dennis Smith Jr. over the last three years. The journey started at Fayetteville (N.C.) Freedom in the eighth grade when he played varsity, though we didn't film him there, but knew he was a priority to see his freshman year. But that is when we first mentioned him in a War Room and correctly predicted the class of 2016 would be bonkers in the state.
Smith's signature and break-out moment nationally was the 2013 HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational, and NC State offered him after that. Been along for the ride every step of the way since, and it's a shame fans can't see him play this year (in all likelihood).
