Wake and Danny Manning

So perhaps someone in the know can comment but is it true Manning has roughly an $18M buyout? Saw this on TOS and it seemed excessive to me.

The Wake fans desperately want Manning gone but I don’t how you pull the trigger with a buyout like that or even remotely close.

They of course just announed the replacement AD to Ron Wellman, which is the Currie guy who TN fired a few months ago for botching the football coaching search. Wonder how fans feel about that?
