NC State will continue to make the rounds this week, including an in-home visit with No. 5-overall ranked De'Aaron Fox of Katy (Texas) Cypress Lakes High on Wednesday. NC State expects the Dennis Smith Jr. commitment to really help its cause with Fox, even though they are both point guards. Fox is explosive, has good height for the position and is slick. When his jumper is on, he's tough.

I also believe NC State will return to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., at some point. Don't be surprised if Dennis Smith Jr. gets in the ear of star senior power forward Harry Giles of Winston-Salem in a last-ditch plea. It might go somewhere, maybe not, but it doesn't hurt. Junior point guard Matt Coleman, junior combo guard Devontae Shuler and junior shooting guard Ty-Shon Alexander, also play for the Warriors. Shuler was just recently offered, and Coleman is expecting one sooner rather than later.

NC State will also make a trip to Las Vegas to see junior point guard Troy Brown. If the timing is right, probably wing Charles O'Bannon Jr. of Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, but definitely Brown, who attends Centennial High. Brown is very versatile and could play the one, two or three in college. Once he improves his jumper, he'll be a difficult matchup at 6-5 or 6-6. Rivals.com has him ranked No. 8 in the class of 2017.

Next Sunday (I believe), NC State will go check out Warren (Ohio) Harding junior power forward Derek Culver, who does have a Wolfpack offer. Rivals.com has him ranked No. 49 in the country in the class of 2017.

Culver's highlights are terrific around the basket, blocking shots or dunking:
