I am happy with how we are beginning to play now, so I was reflecting what events could have helped us have a couple more wins at this point of the season. Obviously the concussion issues have broken up our continuity. Hellems out when he was playing well and taking some time to get right again. Same with CJ Bryce. Bates took him out at a critical time for us. So these are factors.
But how about this as the biggest factor? Blake Harris. I think if we had Harris we definitely win the opening Georgia Tech game when Johnson was injured. Also, we might have be able to give Beverly a break to help his back issue, because we would have had a true backup point guard. I also think his defense would have helped us. Maybe 2 or 3 more wins. Thoughts?
As an addendum, I think we are posed to have a great finish if we can stay healthy the rest of the way.
