Charlotte (N.C.) Catholic five-star sophomore center Blanca Thomas is playing at 3:30 p.m. Thursday it appears, so that will be part of my Charlotte area swing coming up.

I'm hoping to see North Pitt High sophomore point guard Zamareya Jones, not this week, but in the NCHSAA playoffs perhaps. Every time I've been free to see her, they ended up playing Greene Central (twice), and they are now 1-24 on the season. No point in seeing Jones play in that kind of game. The first one was 63-10 without Jones (and the popcorn machine caught on fire), and last night was 101-19 with her.
