NC State athletic director Boo Corrigan fired Tim Santoro as women's soccer coach. Santoro took over in 2012 and guided the Wolfpack to six postseason berths. The team went 4-9-4 this season. The team was competitive, with only three of the losses by two goals or more, but couldn't get over the hump in the close games this season.
