NC State wrestlers will be in action at the Junior and Senior World Team Trials this weekend. Two-time NCAA Champion Nick Gwiazdowski will be competing on the senior level, as will new assistant coach Adam Hall and alum Quinton Godley, who now coaches at Campbell. I believe Nick has been one spot shy of securing a world team roster spot each of the past two years. It would be a heck of an accomplishment for an active college competitor. Former National Champ Darrion Caldwell is the only wrestler in program history to make the U.S. World Team.

Other current wrestlers, including 2015 All-American Kevin Jack, junior NCAA qualifier Pete Renda and redshirt freshman Malik McDonald, are in action on the junior level this weekend.

Article linked below also recaps how the team did at University Freestyle and Greco-Roman Nationals the weekend of May 30. The team won four All-America honors there.
