Local area athletes, Donavan Shepard, who plays at Cardinal Gibbons rushed for 539 yards in 3 quarters of action on Friday night. A new NCHSAA record. I’d expect a lot of colleges to be giving him a long look after that. He’s on the smallish side at 5’8 but I look forward to seeing where he ends up.
