I was looking for something and found something else, but what I wrote about Terquavion Smith on March 21, 2019.

1. Plays With Strong Energy

When Smith gets turned loose in NC State's fullcourt press, his energy will be on full display. He'll get steals and blocks, deflections and create disruption.
NC State has had some good individual defenders over the years. Past coaches would have wings Courtney Fells, C.J. Williams or Devon Daniels guard the top perimeter scorer from opposing teams. Smith could end up taking on that role in Raleigh.

2. High Level Athleticism

Smith might be 6-3 and 175 pounds, but plays much taller due to having great bounce and a nice wingspan.
Big men, who if they aren't ready, will get dunked on by Smith, and he can get from end-to-end in a hurry. He'll need to get stronger in college, without question, but he plays with an edge.

3. Consistency On The Jumper

It's easy to ponder when Smith could have his best games — it's when his jumper is falling.
Smith has complete confidence in his three-point shot, and that can be a good thing at times, but when it's not going in, he'll keep firing. He's the classic basketball gunslinger, who likely thinks the next one is going in.
The key for Smith is that when he is off from beyond the arc, to simplify things and take good shots with his feet set and shoulders squared.
