Burlington (N.J.) Life Center senior point guard Traci Carter picked Marquette over Xavier, UConn and others. NC State evaluated him a few times, but though Adam Zagoria reported he had been offered, he hadn't been. After coach Mark Gottfried watched him a few weeks back, the trail seemed to get cold. I never saw Carter because he was hurt all spring/summer, but he could go in the "what if" category if he ends up being very good or the "smart move" category if he shows he isn't an ACC caliber point guard.
