Pinetown (N.C.) Northside senior center Edrice Adebayo vs. Orangeville (Ont.) Prep senior power forward Thon Maker, enough said. The NBPA semifinals matchup is set for 3:55 p.m. today at University of Virginia. Adebayo's teammate at the camp is junior power forward Matur Maker, and the brothers don't often play each other.

Adebayo had 16 points, seven boards and went 5 of 7 from the field and 6 of 6 at the line in the Grizzlies 83-66 win over the Blazers.

Maker had 16 points and 13 rebounds, but earned his points at the line after going 3 of 10 from the field in the Rockets' 72-61 win over the Hawks. NBA fans might remember Gary Trent Sr., and his junior shooting guard son, Gary Jr., showed why everyone is loving his game. He had 18 points in a loss.

That game was also the breakout performance for Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic junior wing D.J. Harvey, who had 19 points. He went 6 of 11 from the field, 2 of 4 on three-pointers, made all five free throws. He'd shown flashes this week, but put it all together.

The other NC State targets for the Hawks had quiet performances. Memphis Bolton senior point guard Jaylen Fisher had four points and two assists, and Stockbridge (Ga.) Mount Vernon Christian senior center James Banks had two points, three rebounds and two blocks. They both have NC State offers.

Maker's teammate, junior power forward Xavier Tillman, is getting NCSU interest and he made both free throws and had four points, but zero rebounds. He hit a nice half hook.

Speaking of putting it all together, both senior shooting guard Markelle Fultz of DeMatha Catholic and junior point guard Trevon Duval of Newark (N.J.) St. Benedict, who both have NC State offers. Fultz showed the full arsenal going 7 of 9 for 17 points, including 3 of 4 on three-pointers. He is superb at getting out on the break and is also efficient.

Duval went 5 of 8 for 14 points and added four assists. I don't know if he tried many outside jumpers this week, but he is incredibly explosive off the bounce, and maybe has graduated to he has a chance to be a first-round draft one day category. Duval swung through NC State when he was in the state for the CP3 Rising Stars Camp in Lewisville, N.C., in Aug. 2013.

Junior point guard Matt Coleman of Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy was effective but didn't pile up stats if that makes sense. He's very quick and has a pass-first approach. He ended up with two points, two rebounds and three assists.

NC State senior point guard target Devearl Ramsey was on the losing Warriors team, and so was senior power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones, and both have NC State offers. Ramsey has had a rough week and he had two points on a fastbreak layup. Killeya-Jones had four points and two rebounds, and wasn't overly involved.
