Former NC State wrestlers will be in action at tomorrow's Last Chance Qualifier — where the top two qualify for the US Olympic Team Trials (April 2-3): Sean Fausz (7 seed at 65 kg), Michael Boykin (5 seed at 97 kg) and Mike Kosoy (4 seed at 125 kg). All three are no long training in Raleigh FWIW. Fausz and Kosoy are college coaches.
Three other alums are already qualified for the Olympic Team Trials: Michael Macchiavello, Tommy Gantt and Nick Gwiazdowski (these three all still train in Raleigh).
Tomorrow's tourney is on FloWrestling. It begins at 11 a.m. with prelims, quarterfinals and semifinals. Finals and true seconds (when needed) will begin at 7:30 p.m.
