I don't know if they'll have any legs to it, as South Carolina prep players usually stay home, but give NC State kudos for being aggressive. NCSU had already offered outside linebacker Jaquel Holman, who is committed to the Gamecocks, but now have added two others.
NC State has joined Florida State in offering sophomore defensive lineman John Archer of Fayetteville Seventy-First, who I have been bullish about since last December. Big kid with some change of direction to him, and a nose tackle in NC State's scheme.

Outside linebacker Josh Smith committed to Coastal Carolina last April, but he has had a flurry of offers lately. He plays for Tom Knotts at Dutch Fork, and might unofficially visit in a month.
