Power forward Cameron Boozer and point guard Cayden Boozer of Miami Columbus have picked Duke. They are the sons of Carlos Boozer, but mom went to NC State and has been the driving force, which is how Miami almost got them to stay home.

Cameron is gifted in every way and if his jumper is falling, a major problem. Walking double-double at about 6-8. Maybe more Paolo Banchero type than say Jayson Tatum.

Cayden is more of a traditional point guard, but with good size. He is a glue guy and not flashy. He wants to get 10-12 points, pass the ball and win.

So exciting.

My 25 year old attempted to buy beer at the game Thursday night but was turned down. He got his license renewed a few days prior to his 21st birthday so his driver's license is vertical since he was not 21 yet. We have a 24 year old and a 22 year old in our seating group of 8 with the same issue. Apparently an email went out this year to concession workers to not serve anyone a beer who has a vertical license. Who would a complaint about this issue need to go to?

NC State emphasizing hard work, finishing​

The first of two waves from coach Dave Doeren's media session today.

NC State coach Dave Doeren shared that redshirt freshman running back Daylan Smothers has returned to practice this week from an undisclosed injury.

NC State coach Kevin Keatts and senior guards Jayden Taylor and Michael O'Connell.

Keatts said he prides himself on not changing much and that he's the same coach as before the 9-game winning streak to the Final Four.

Beautiful day at Carter-Finley Stadium, and some of the recruits are down on the field in pregame.

NFL scouts from the Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Commanders, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants in attendance.
