OT: Charleston Southern fires Autry Denson...

NC State topped Charleston Southern 55-3 this season and they are now 2-8, and have fired coach Autry Denson, the former Notre Dame running back.

Freshman wide receiver Seth Anderson could draw some looks in the portal if he wanted to make a move. Teams needing a kicker, might put out the feelers for former Kentucky transfer Sam Babbush, who is 8 of 12 with a long of 49 yards this season.

Wolfpack Wrestling Wins 2 Heading into Wrestlemania

The NC State wrestling team went 2-0 on Saturday, defeating Lock Haven 32-4 and No. 17 Nebraska 23-10.

With the two wins, the Wolfpack improves to 3-0 on the season.

NC State returns to action on Sunday for Wrangle Mania Round Robin, also to be held in Bethlehem, Pa.

All went well in Bethlehem on day one as NC State took five of the first seven matches on the day.

In those first five matches three wrestlers - Kai Orine, Jackson Arrington and Don Cates - got their first wins of the season.

Orine defeated Gable Strickland 6-2 and Jackson, a true freshman, defeated Connor Eck 16-1 by technical fall.

Cates got his first technical fall of the season over Aiden Gaugler. After Tyler Stolzfus defeated Brock Delsignore, the back end of the NC State lineup took care of business. In the 184 class, No. 3 Trent Hidlaydefeated Colin Fegley, 18-3, earning his second technical fall of the young season. Isaac Trumbleand Owen Trephan both won by major decisions.

After Nebraska took the 125 class in the second match of the day, the Pack ripped off three in a row to go up 9-3 over the Huskers. In a 157-class battle of top-10 athletes, No. 4 Peyton Robb defeated No. 6 Ed Scott.

NC State would take four of the final five to close out Nebraska.
