Recruiting Myers Park vs. Independence updates...

Independence used two big plays, one through the air and then junior running back Jayden Jones sliced through the Myers Park defense for a nice touchdown run. Jones put up video game numbers as a sophomore and is having a big first quarter.

Probably around 500 students here for Myers Park, which is impressive.

Independence is up 10-0 with 5:43 left in the first quarter.

This is an easy one to fact check:

Hill was in the class of 2012 and T.J. Graham's senior year was 2011, so they had nothing to do with each other.

Hill had no grades, hence junior college.

And for people who think it would be great to have Hill in college, they should look up what he did while at Oklahoma State, which hasn't been an isolated incident.

However, it makes for an entertaining reel that will fool thousands.

Recruiting OT: Tennessee becoming a problem in recruiting, land David Sanders…

The recruiting journey of Charlotte Providence Day senior left tackle David Sanders has ended with Tennessee. This is on heels of getting defensive end Daevin Hobbs and wide receiver Nathan Leacock in 2023 and quarterback Faizon Brandon in 2026 from Greensboro Grimsley. They also have a current commitment from defensive tackle Charles House of Huntersville North Mecklenburg.
