Hello Fellow Wolfpackers
I wanted to share with you all an event that I am participating in at the beginning of September. I am riding in the 9/11 Ride of Hope this year on the 20th anniversary of that day we will never forget.
This is a 5 day cycling Journey that will start at the 9/11 Memorial in NYC and end at the Pentagon. The purpose of the ride is to raise money for the First Responders who are still suffering from the physical and emotional exposures associated with September 11th, 2001 and its aftermath. Each mile we ride between the World Trade Center and the Pentagon will Honor and Pay Respect to those who lost their lives and demonstrate our commitment to the mental health of our First Responder, Emergency Response, Government Agencies, and Military Communities.
We are raising awareness and understanding of the emotional toll our nation's first responders experience through their day-to-day lives and the long-term impact on their well-being. Americans in public service are more likely to die by suicide than performing their line-of-duty life-saving roles. The reality facing our country's First Responders is at a critical point and we are trying to help with that.
The ride will consist of the following:
Tuesday 9/7 - start at the 9/11 Memorial and ride to Princeton, NJ ( +/- 60 miles)
Wednesday 9/8 - start in Princeton and ride to Philadelphia +/- 50 miles (then bus to Wilmington, DE)
Thursday 9/9 - start in Wilmington DE and ride to Baltimore ( +/- 70 miles)
Friday 9/10 - start in Baltimore and ride to the Pentagon ( +/- 50 miles)
Saturday 9/11 - Participate in a 15 mile loop ride around Arlington hitting all the Firehouses that responded to the Pentagon with over 200 First Responders
I am excited to be a small part of this great cause and it certainly isn't going to be easy, but we are looking to make a big impact.

Also - if you have any questions please feel free to send me a message. Thank you in advance for anyone who decides to support this worthy cause!
