NC State will not likely announce anything on them...
Delbert Mimms is a former Vanderbilt commit at running back from Ben Davis High in Indianapolis who opened up his recruitment. He will announce a choice tomorrow night, and I understand that a blueshirt option is there for him at NC State. I've reached out to Mimms but he would prefer to not comment till tomorrow.
NC State is also looking at a small college transfer ... can't say more than that at the moment.
Wednesday update: The small college transfer is Jeffrey Gunter from Coastal Carolina. He had 5.5 sacks as a sophomore and is one of a host of players leaving the program. NC State actually offered Gunter a scholarship late in the process of his senior year at Riverside High in Durham, but he remained loyal to Coastal. Syracuse is also in the mix however, so nothing likely to move on that front today. Like we said yesterday, Gunter is a likely blueshirt if he came to NC State.
As for Mimms, his announcement is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight.
