Trashawn Ruffin to UNC
Cliff notes version of Ruffin's recruitment so far...
NC State was Ruffin's first P4 offer and maybe second overall offer to Charlotte. They hit him hard early and it felt like the Wolfpack had a lead.
Then he unofficially visited Texas A&M and came away impressed and committed Oct. 18, 2024.
NC State never gave up and have recruited him off and an ever since the TAMU commitment.
Ruffin has alternated between being open to coaches or then shutting things down.
UNC struck hard the last month or so, and he flipped to the Tar Heels.
Is this recruitment over? I have my doubts. Some also aren't even sure if Ruffin is a good prospect, but he's huge and at a small school in the southeast area of the state by Mount Olive.
