Sophomore wing Jalen Hudson, who wasn't recruited by Virginia Tech coach Buzz Williams but stayed on during the transition, is leaving. He was streaky, but he torched the Wolfpack this season, so a major blow. He played with the Martin twins and former Virginia player B.J. Stith on Team Loaded traveling team. Good programs will want him.
Sophomore center Satchel Pierce signed with Marquette and followed Williams to VT, and is also leaving. He is big but a project. The redshirt year could be good for him.
I believe the Hokies have three schollies to use. I will also guess this would be well into double digits of transfers since Williams shortly arrived.
Maybe tomorrow I'll add up the correct figure but it is a crazy amount, but that is his style.
