Dixon had done the one-day swing at North Carolina and NC State, and picked the Wolfpack. He had a serious injury this past year and Alabama had a weird string of scenarios where linebackers ahead of him came back. One by-passed the NFL Draft. Another got a extra year from the junior college ruling. They landed a key outside linebacker in the portal, so not much room for Dixon on the depth chart.
