Today three-star linebacker Jayland Parker from Macon (Ga.) Westside will announce his decision between Colorado, NC State and Purdue. I confirmed over the weekend barring a last minute change of heart he will commit to Colorado. Apparently new Colorado head coach Mel Tucker, former Georgia DC, has an ambitious plan to make Colorado a popular destination for Georgia recruits, and Parker is one of his early believers. Parker would be Colorado's third top-100 recruit from Georgia already.
Obviously the one of more interest is Johnson, who will announce tomorrow evening. Some believe he is down to NC State and Penn State. Some think it's Penn State and Texas A&M. I might be more inclined on the former than the latter, but there is also a constant in either scenario and that is Penn State. Hopefully we will get a better feel sometime Monday for what he is doing. As of Monday morning, I don't think schools have a firm idea yet what is going to happen.
