On March 17 we hired Kevin Keatts to lead our basketball program. In the little over two months Coach Keatts has been on the job he has retained several (yes not all) current players and convinced them to share his vision to return the program to national prominence, constructed most of his basketball staff, recruited Lavar Batts, added two more players to help in the immediate future ( A. Freeman, Hunt, possibly a third in Simms), added Bryce and Daniels to boost the program after next year and is getting the Pack in position to have a great recruiting year in 2018. Additionally, Coach Keatts has taken his vision and message in a very positive way to Wolfpack nation at the Wolfpack Caravan stops. I realize that a lot still has to be accomplished in order for the Pack to be a factor in the ACC and NCAA but Coach Keatts has been impressive thus far. Go Pack !
