Anyone stay up and waste their night watching that one like I did?
I really didn’t get the last drive play calling. Carolina was down 28-23 and needed a TD to take the lead for the win with about 3 mins left. They were driving the ball and were around the Eagles 35-40 with about 2 mins left. They then took three shots deep to basically the goal line area.
They missed all three and the third was picked. I don’t get why they didn’t just keep dinking and dunking and burning clock. Too much time left to go into panic mode. Even had they scored they would’ve left 2 mins on the clock with only a fg needing to beat them.
Puzzling playcall, didn’t stay up to watch press conference. Just goes to show anything can happen in this game and all coaches make odd calls at times.
