McClelland said in some ways Udoh is similar to Terry Sanford alum Dwayne Allen, who went on to earn the John Mackey Award as the nation’s top college tight end at Clemson and is is now a member of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.
“Dwayne has done some things most people don’t do in high school, college and in his professional career,″ McClelland said. “I wouldn’t dare put that comparison on Ezemdi. But as far as size and being able to run and catch the football well, I think he’s packaging himself to be someone like Dwayne Allen. The size and the running ability would be a good comparison.″
