Alabama freshman point guard Jaden Bradley is looking for a new home after a controversial first year with the Crimson Tide. He attended Concord (N.C.) Cannon School his first two years — won a state title as a sophomore — and then made his way to prep powerhouse Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. NC State had offered him but was never really in the mix. It was obvious as freshman that Bradley, M.J. Rice and Jalen Hood-Schifino were the top three guys in the state (Freddie Dilione probably fourth), and only Hood-Schifino enjoyed a good freshman year and he became a one-and-done from Indiana.

He finished ranked No. 32 in the country in the class of 2022 by Rivals.com. Great driver, finishes at the rim, passes well but was an inconsistent outside shooter. Bradley averaged 6.4 points and 3.1 assists in 19.8 minutes per game. He started 22 of 37 games but his role was greatly reduced in the NCAA Tournament with Jahvon Quinerly playing so well. Quinerly is coming back for next year too. He had a season-high 18 points in the 100-90 loss to Gonzaga on Dec. 17.

Michigan, UNC and Kentucky were other schools in the mix the first time around, but I'd be surprised if any of them would take him now, and that's just with the basketball part of things.
